Cannot install Windows 2000
I will write how i attempted to install win2000 on my comp this afternoon.
1. I boot into dos and under a prompt i typed a:/>format c:/s 2. Then I typed D:/ 3. Then D:/setup after that, it says this program cannot run in ms-dos, but i am pretty sure this is the full version, not the upgrade one, so i want to ask you guys how do you guys install win2000?Do u must need a windows on it first? |

buddy!
u don't need to creat any partition before windows installation, it's not necesssary. However, u can directly use the "CD-ROM boot" to install Windows 2K, that would be very easily. Try again & good luck.

你可以用win2000光碟開機，它會自己灌....

灌2000不需要做先partition呢....
只要把2000的cd放進開機.....之後便會要你切割HD了呢.... |

You should try d:\I386\WINNT.exe instead of setup.exe
