很多人遇到在Ritek G04的片子上不能正常四寫(有顯示4X, 但實際燒錄時間為2X的時間)

I have also tried: 1d, 1e, 1f, 1g, 2c, 2d, 2e 2f. All the same. Yes I did disable DMA during the firmware flash.
The only thing that works for me is the following using 2.0f firmware and Nero v.28.

If you go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ahead\Nero - Burning Rom\Recorder\CheckSupportedMedia
and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ahead\Nero - Burning Rom\Recorder\CheckSupportedMedia

change value from 1 to 0 in both places.
you should be able to write to Ritek, princo, datawrite. at 4x
It may well work with other media I have only tested those so far.
Writes at 4x speed every time (no errors).
You must fire up Nero then add files to compilation. When you are ready to click the burn button change the above settings and it should burn at 4x speed. Until I found this last week I had NEVER got any 4x speed disk to burn faster than 2x speed.
Easiest way is to export the 2 keys to desktop then double click when ready to burn.
I started burning Blackhawk Down just before writing this, it has just finished, time taken 15 mins 42 seconds.
Each time you start Nero it resets to 1 so you must do it everytime.
