Absolutely YES. Byte x23 within VIDEO_TS.IFO is the "prohibited region mask." Zone free DVD means this byte is '00', therefore it's no problem
for any DVD player to play this DVD. Even it's not a zone free DVD, you can use IfoEdit to adjust this byte to '00' And this is also the theory to modify your DVD player to be zone free -- skip the region code check or set it to be '00' too. |
