You don't really need to cancel your telus phone line. What FIDO will do is, they will transfer Telus phone no. to your FIDO account. What it mean is that you can use your home no. as your cell no. But you are no longer have telus phone service. That is what I heard from the dealer. You can ask them for more info.

Here is another news. People in FIDO said that Telus is trying to buy out FIDO, so in a way, FIDO's local unlimited won't kill telus' phone service. But it is just a info unknown.

Well, I had pretty bad experience with Fido...
Now I am on their prepay plan...(calling cards)

I have no idea on whats the deal with moving home phone # to Fido.
Never ask the sales there b4..
but paying $45 for a phone for 1 month is just Not worth it...

I thoguht it was Rogers that had this idea..but that was quiet a long time ago
