My tutor had some knowledge and experience regarding the credit card security issue. She is one of my EC tutor and she teaches in many countries like Hong Kong or Singapore. Last time she explained to us how online payment works. She said after you enter your credit card details and submit them to the shopping website, they will go to the third party, which is an creditable organisation that certify your credibility. After it approves your account, your details (but not your credit card number) will send to the shopping website. That means your credit card number will not be stored in its database, which is quite safe.
However, she never uses credit card in restaurant. Why? It's because some restaurants just copy your credit card details, and then throw away after they use it. The problem is maybe a guy will pick the paper in the bin and you'll never know your credit card number has been stolen. Actually I don't have a credit card (I'm just a student), and I don't know how Taiwanese websites transate your details. I hope this might help you guys  Sorry for my bad English |

書送到7-11時~都用大的塑膠箱裝著~ 到店之後~直接放入電子商務的櫃子內~ 所以應該是不會有折到的現象~ 我到現在都還沒遇過書被折損 |

書到了...真快..3天而已,書都蠻新的,也沒折損
用了好大一個箱子...30幾本書 不過有缺一本,有一本200元的生活智慧王沒貨 不知道會不會補寄...補寄不知要不要算運費....

我已經網路訂過好幾次書了,每次幾乎都是金石堂和博客來兩邊同時下單, 如果金石堂沒有的書,我就去博客來下單. 以前聽人說,金石堂網路書店,東西來的慢, 但以我的經驗,每次我差不多同時間下單, 金石堂幾乎都是隔兩三天,書就寄到我的手上, 至於博客來,快則約一個禮拜,慢則mail告訴你目前沒存貨,看你要不要繼續等... 書的快慢是要看網路書店有沒有存貨,金石堂在這方面是比較佔優勢, 畢竟是實體書店,有自己的倉儲,調書快... 博客來的話,我想是跟出版商調貨的,所以時效上會慢一點. 我在金石堂訂書最少的是一次兩本,都是用瓦楞紙盒裝著的, 至於博客來,我想是看書量,少的話是用氣泡袋外包塑膠信封袋裝的, 我因為每次下單量都不多,所以目前為止,只看過博客來用塑膠信封裝的... 另外,金石堂網路書店的價格真的是比較便宜, 博客來則是一般在實體書店用會員卡的程度. 至於書的新舊程度,則比較無法事前得知,有些書可能本來就存貨居多, 感覺舊舊的,但破損的情況倒是不曾發生. |

金石堂網路書店較便宜???但是若只買一本的話,未必如此,因為金石堂無論是親自取貨款或郵寄,(若不滿350元)都要加付50元運費!!!...博克來若是親自取貨付款,則不用加運費!! |

金石堂現在也有到店取貨免運費!!比如全家,福克多等便利商店. 而且金石堂只需買滿350元以上,也免運費,博客來得要1000元以上才免運費, 所以我通常都一次買個兩本書以上,就免運費囉! 還有,我說金石堂網路購書比較便宜,是指折扣方面, 博客來通常都是9折,和一般用會員卡在實體書店買書差不多, 但是金石堂網路書店大多是8折,少部分85折,但都比博客來便宜, 如果你買得愈多,價差愈大. 所以通常金石堂書店有的,我都在那裡買,沒有的才考慮博客來. PS:上個禮拜我又下了一次單,金石堂的隔兩天就收到,博客來的至今還未收到... 去查詢訂單狀況後,老樣子,在調貨需7~10天. 不過我是不急,但若是有時效考量的人就比較麻煩了. |

It's true. There are just some "bad guys" out there ready to copy your card when you give them the card to pay for the bill. It's safer to shop online by credit card on some safe websites. Then again, it depends on where you shop and the system which varifies your card. My English is not too good either....
