Just my guess...Basically Tbred B low voltage version is made with lower resistence (ohm)material comparing to Tbred B 1.6v normal version.
Lower resistence = lower voltage Anyway the wattage/power consumption between 1.6v and 1.5v version at the same clock speed will be the same. Watt = Voltage x Ampere Although with lower voltage, the current(ampere) required will be higher. That's why low Vcore version doesn't have significant lower temperature comparing to 1.6v version, at the same clock speed. Eventually when we add more voltage for it to run at higher clock speed, the temperature will be obviously much higher. Sorry I am using 56K Modem only..So I cant afford to type Chinese online which will cost me a lot.... Maybe somebody can translate for me. Thx. |

真的嗎 那我應該是運氣....還算不錯 灌XP時就是用2200在灌 沒出問題 隔天就把他玩到2255 隔天用2355跑完PI32M測空冷極限後 覺得實在熱過頭 夏天到了 不應該亂超他 所以... 改用2200 但跑了兩週後 發現會有偶發的跳出"天堂"現象.........之 後 照狂大的方法加上散熱片 給他風扇吹 降低整體約兩度 改跑2100穩定 記憶體也給他調到7-3-3-3 總算是可以一周不關機的超穩情況了 現在因為天氣熱 就給他跑2G....非常穩 prime95跑不停 甚有成就感

不會 你寫的很清楚 是電學的一些理論 我是外語系的 雖然沒啥基礎 但一樣看的清清楚楚 總之就是低電壓並不會特別涼 主因是因為Amp的關係 所以散熱量是一定的 反而加壓之後 產生的熱量會特別可觀 這點我可以用我自身的例子作證明... 加壓之後 的確發熱量變大很多 但我實測結果其實 跑高時脈造成的熱度更可觀.... 我一樣的壓力 用1.65V跑2200跟2300 時脈不過高了一百 溫度竟高了四度 我從2200降到2G 溫度也才低兩度 越接近極限值 散發的熱量越是可觀 這是我的結論...當然 沒有理論依據啦 話說回來 可能是我語焉不詳 大家都沒猜到我實際上要問什麼 我真的想問的是"為什麼低電壓版的平均好超的程度都很高" .... (當然還是有鴨子) 但整體而言 低電壓版好超的秘密在於?????????????????????????????????????????????? <--這才是我內心真正的大疑問 哈

Most probably higher Vcore will result more electrical leak which will slowly generate more hot spot and eventually destroy the transistor.
Maybe lower resistence transistor easier to get spoiled? My first Tbred B is 1700+ UT3C 0302 WPMW, I feed 2v for it to run 100% stable at 2.26GHz, but it was running cooler than my current 1800+ 0310 LT3C VPMW at the same clock speed, 1.65v. btw my nickname at forum.lowyat.net is Austin.
