諾曼第，位於法國英吉利海峽沿岸的靜謐鄉區，卻是史上最偉大戰役的起始處，兩百萬人在這片沙灘上奮戰十二週半，十萬青年在此地喪生。美、加、英及歐洲自由軍聯盟的同盟軍於1944年6月6日搶攻希特勒的大西洋堡壘，計劃將德軍趕出歐洲，十二個半月後，德軍投降，但戰爭的殘酷，死亡的陰影，卻在世人心中久久不去。

sty和ostfront兄, 他們說的是1965年的[坦克大決戰](Battle of the Bulge , 1965)............
公版片的畫質和字幕都還不錯, 暫時還頂得住..............

公版片雖然不錯,不過聽說還是少了兩段:
1.當勞勃蕭在見完其長官後,隨其前往作戰指揮中心時,有途中遭到假扮成美軍的德軍特殊任務部隊的劫持.
2.後來校閱龐大的戰車部隊的情節.
要是能找到這兩段該有多好..... ^^

史上最傳奇的裝甲部隊出擊!

IMDB網站記載的完整片長是167 min, 若扣除開場/中場/離場音樂片段, 大約是163 min.
台灣發行的公版片是156 min, 跟美版VHS/LD是一模一樣的, 據說有若干片段已經遺失了, 然而丹麥電視台曾經播出過較長的版本, 但還是不完整.

Alternate Versions for Battle of the Bulge (1965)

The US and UK video versions are somewhat shorter than they ought to be (a similiar copy was shown on Danish TV some time ago). True the copies are longer now than when it first came out on video in the early/late 80's, but there are still sequences missing. That's the reason why the quoted running time on various reference works differs from how long available versions actually is. In short:
When Robert Shaw visits the German hedquarters there should be a sequence just before Werner Peters switches on the lights in the operating center where Shaw and Peters had been ambushed by what appeared to be US parastroopers in the corridors. They turned out to be Ty Hardin's German bogus US paratroopers.
After the town held by Charles Bronson is overtaken by the Germans there should be a confrontation/interrogation sequence between Shaw and Bronson.
Shortly thereafter Shaw gets attacked by a young boy outside the Town Hall. The boy is about to get shot, but his father pleads for his life. The boy is freed and the father gets executed instead.

Also the Danish video copies contains one further sequence in wich Shaw inspects his tanks.

There's also one more scene where Bronson and Fonda discuss Fonda's presence in the war over a cup of coffee.

The 163-minute cuts out the Overture, Intermission and Exit Music. It also removed most of the sequence involve the artillery train. The 163-minute version also is pan-and-scanned signifigantly differently than the other pan-and-scan versions of the movie.

真是太感謝了!原來公版片足足少了六段啊.
不知道這六段劇情何時才能重見天日呢......? ^^;

關於公版中遺漏的片段....多年前在"高傳真"視聽雜誌中曾有專文提及
並有照片(可能該文作者所側錄的電視影帶)
我把它影印掃描成圖檔...貼幾張供大家參考.....但是解析度不太好也太小了...請見諒

另外在日人的網頁中曾提及另一個消息...當年所拍的結局中...是男主角海斯勒陣亡了....但還有海斯勒被侍從康納從火海中所救出的片段(有照片)...現也貼上供大家欣賞

看到虎王爆炸的場景,相信大家一定認定海斯勒已經變成叉燒包了,
沒想到還有驚人結局.......!!
