 There has been a price change with the upcoming 'deluxe edition' of Akira. The set, originally priced at $34.95, has been raised to $39.95. A limited number will also made available in a special tin (I'm assuming like the Anchor Bay tins). Pioneer Entertainment's DVD release will include: a new video transfer made from new interpositive off the original negative, completely restored and digitally re-mastered through High-Definition digital mastering (1080i, 16:9, D5); THX-certified audio components re-mixed to Dolby Digital AC3 surround sound (5.1 channels, English only). The Akira deluxe edition will also contain an exclusive second DVD of extras such as the "Making of Akira" documentary, a soundtrack featurette and much more. The standard edition will still retail for $24.95. Both are set for a 7/4 release from Pioneer. 等這片等的夠久了，自從在大學時代第一次看到這部Akira，在那時，這部動畫的細緻震撼了許多人(印象中這是第一部動畫人物的說話嘴型與語音相符合的動畫)，也因為這部動畫，開始注意大友克洋的作品 ......
不過，價格倒是頂貴的..... ------------------ I'm Lucifer....The Prince of Darkness....... |
