This is an amazing shot.

This came from a Rig Manager for Global Marine Drilling in St.
Johns,Newfoundland.

They actually have to divert the path of these things away from the rig by
towing them with ships!
Anyway, in this particular case the water was calm & the sun was almost
directly overhead so that the diver was able to get into the water and
click this pic.

They estimated the weight at 300,000,000 tons.

這幅攝影是由 Kan桑 過去的一位同事所寄來的，他目前在鈕芬蘭島 St. Johns 擔任美
商 "全球海域石油鑽探公司" 的鑽油平台專案任務經理。
為了確保鑽油平台的作業安全，每當有 "冰山警報" 時，鑽油平台就必須派遣潛水人員
以及任務專家，在所有冰山可能經過的路徑海域儘快完成海況調查，並且依據調查報告
調派越洋型拖船 (Ocean Tug)，待命將冰山拖離任何可能危及鑽油平台作業安全的區
域。

由於當天的海況出奇的風平浪靜，海水清澈無比，陽光又正好是直接照射的角度，所以
鑽油平台上的潛水人員才得以拍攝下這幅冰山全貌的完美傑作!!

根據鑽油平台上的專家們估計，這座冰山的總重至少超過 "三億公噸"。
