舊主機版能裝的硬碟有限嗎?
因為我表弟的電腦因為壞軌壞的太誇張
所以跑去買了一顆新硬碟 但是安裝上發生很多奇怪的問題 他的主機板很舊了 是華碩的P2B-S 之前他裝的是Q牌13.5G的硬碟 新買的硬碟是S牌的120G硬碟 原本主機版是連抓都抓不到 我跑去華碩的網站去更新BIOS從1010更新到1013.A 抓是抓到了...硬碟的號碼出來了開機畫面也顯示出120G了 但是XP光碟片放進去安裝以後 格式化...複製檔案...然後重開 問題來了 他一直說 NTXXX is missing 就卡在這裡了 遠本以為是硬碟太大他不支援 換成S牌40G的硬碟也一樣發生這種情形 我應該怎麼做才能讓我的XP順利安裝呢 另一點很怪的是 我用普通開機磁碟片開機以後使用FDISK 我的40G硬碟居然只剩8G多 我把硬碟上面的JUMPER調成另一個以後變成能抓到20G 但是還是不能安裝XP |

我的 MVP3G5 + K6-500 在 BIOS 刷到最新之後也只認得 80 GB HDD, 後來還是加裝一片 SIL 680 晶片的 RAID controller 之後才讓 K6-500 加到 250 GB *2. 參考看看吧.

是的，主機板不支援。 80G 應該就沒問題了， DOS 本來就只支援到 8G 阿。。。 Windows XP/2000 也只支援到 32G， 用 Spfdisk / partition magic 吧 ！！ |

應該是 FAT32 只能支援到 32GB, NTFS 無此限制. |

NTFS 有限制的， 理論上，FAT32 最高可以切 320G， NTFS 最高可切 4T (4000G)， Windows XP/2000 因為系統的限制， 要在 Windows 裡只能切 32G 了。 記得 NTFS 比 FAT32 高一點 (36G or 40G)， 不是很確定，用 CDROM 開機，全新安裝， 120G 應該沒問題，我都是切過的， 這種裝法沒用過。。。 |

1. FAT32 的大小限制絕對不在 32G，不過他最麻煩的限制是單一檔案不得超過 4G。
2. FAT32 與 NTFS 以速度來說，各有千秋。 3. FAT32 比較麻煩的是要注意磁區很大時，cluster waste 的問題。 4. NTFS 比較沒有 cluster waste 的問題，不過印象中他的 FAT 區 (此 FAT 區不是指 FAT16/FAT32) 會比較大。  (有誤請幫忙更正一下) |
