2 Operating Systems in 1 Hard Drive
hello guys......... I recently play a chinese game at my friend's house and I am thinking of getting it on my computer, but the thing is that I have English Windows ME, and after I installed the game, some of the characters I cannot see, even though I have NJStar on (a chinese viewer program). So now, I am thinking of putting 2 OS on 1 HD, here is my questions:
1). Is it possible to put 2 different languages of windows on 1 HD? 2). If it is possible, how can I do that, I know that it has something to do with partition my HD, but I tried it, I dont really understand it, so can someone please explain the concept to me in detail. I will mainly use the English windows. Thank You |

使用軟體多重開機應該可以輕易達成
只要別把兩套裝在同一個分割

The following steps is for "Partition Magic"
1. partition a primary as active and format (say it parition A) 2. install an OS in partition A (now you have an original system) 3. install PartitionMagic7 (with Boot magic) in partition A. (donot forget make rescue disks) 4. using PartitionMagic creat other primary partition (hiden partition)-->B ***** be careful following the steps****** 5. using PartitionMagic "Rescue disks" to boot your system. 6. hide partition A, unhide partition B and set active. 7. reboot your system..... you will see nothing, and freez.. (right, you are booting in partition B). 8. restart by OS installation disk, and install OS in partition B (you cannot see partition A which is "hiden partition") 9. now, you have OS B...., but rebooting always in to the B.... donot worry!! 10. rebooting by PartitionMagic rescue disk. 11. set "hide partition B", also unhide partition A and set active. 12. reboot your system... now, should in the system A. 13. enable boot magic, and add other system B in the program. 14. reboot the system, now, you can see the " BOOT MAGIC SYSTEM SELECTION MENU ", A AND B GOOD LUCK.... |

HELLO:
SPFDISK http://mail.ht.net.tw/~spferng/ is another good choice. 1.create a primary partition and install your OS in the primary partition. don't forget to set the new partition active. 2.boot your system using a win9X boot disk. 3.use spfdisk to create another primary partition and make the origional partition hidden.don't forget to set the new partition active. 4.install your the other OS in the new partition. 5.reboot your system using a win9X boot disk. 6.in spfdisk you can make a boot menu and you can install the menu in MBR or the third partition etc... 7.reboot and you will see your menu. |

NOP!! You may find "Language pack"(2CDs) for Windows XP, so that you can switch different languages in "ONE" Windows XP. I don't think you can find any language pack for Win9x and Win2k |
