Help! 我的 ASUS CUV4X-E 安裝 Linux 7 有問題!!! 我安裝時用 Linux 7 + CLE 1.0 光碟片開機 開機到一半無法繼續... ... Partition check: hdb: [PTBL] [1826/255/63] hdb 1 hdb2 < hdb5 > RAMDISK: Compressed format found at block 0 invalid compressed format (err=2) VFS: Cannot open root device 08:41 Kernal Panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 08:41 就當在這裡無法繼續了... 請問各位是否有遇過類似問題 感激不盡!!! |

看樣子…有可能是你HD有問題…重新做低階，再試試!!
如果還是一樣…就再找一顆HD試試!!

這一點我也懷疑過 可是我換了另一顆硬碟 ( 這一顆我曾經成功安裝過 Linux 的, 不過是在另一台機器上裝的 ) 結果還是一樣 所以有點懷疑是不是這塊板子的問題 因為之前安裝 Linux 的經驗 好像最常遇到的問題都是發生在主機板的相容性上面 之前還有一次遇到 ABIT VA6 安裝完後 256MB 開機硬是只能抓到 12MB Memory 跑起來像龜爬, startx 後硬碟燈從沒停過... 啟動 x window 要10分鐘... 後來換了 BIOS 就好了 哎~ 去華碩找 BIOS 更新好了... |

更新 BIOS 看看 這個問題應該是可以解決的 因為華碩主機板研發時，RD 跟 QT 都會檢查與常見硬體週邊與軟體的相容性 當然，也包含了 Linux.

那個應該是Redhat 7 linux kernel只出到2.4.x 這是不一樣的喔~  注意一下

把BIOS更新看看囉.......
不要用R7.0.....因為他的BUG很多呢......去下載R7.1或等R7.2版的LINUX吧... |

我是豬頭... 我用來安裝的那片是用 CDR 燒起來的 後來換成原書附贈的那一片來開機就正常了 可能是"有部分"檔案燒壞了 造成光碟讀取不正確 |
