今年八月即將在美國上映的"大法師前傳（Exorcist: The Beginning）",最近傳出多災多難的消息,原本由電影嬰兒(Movie Brad)世代健將之一保羅許瑞德(曾經寫過計程車司機的劇本 導演過美國舞男 豹人...等片)又編又導的這部片,最近因為電影公司不滿意他的成果,臨時決定把導演換成雷尼哈林(導演過 終極警探2 巔峰戰士 ....等),兩個導演的風格南轅北轍,電影會搞成什麼樣子,有點讓人擔心

而原本幫保羅許瑞德譜寫配樂的Christopher Young也順便被換下來,改由Hans Zimmer一族的青壯派商業巨匠Trevor Rabin(配過世界末日 絕地戰警2 ...等片)瓜代,不過我對他的信心比特洛伊的James Horner強,只是怕短短一個多月的時間,又要趕工了...

這個事情,是今年好萊塢繼特洛伊的配樂蓋布瑞亞德被換掉之後,最大條的一個新聞,有趣的是,同樣是華納公司出的餿主意!
特洛伊臨時換配樂,成績慘不忍睹,如今大法師前傳恐怕也會上演一樣的戲碼,讓人拭目以待.....

Rabin new composer on 'Exorcist: The Beginning':


The new composer hired to score Exorcist: The Beginning is Trevor Rabin, who previously worked with director Renny Harlin on Deep Blue Sea in 1999. Rabin is replacing Christopher Young as the composer on the film, Young was hired to score the film when Paul Schrader was the director responsible for the project. As Music from the Movies revealed earlier this month, although Young was contracted he actually did not write a score for Schrader's rejected version of the film.

Renny Harlin's second version of Exorcist: The Beginning, will premiere on 20th August. Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård is doing the lead as Father Lankester Merrin. Skarsgård, by the way, also starred in Harlin's Deep Blue Sea.

Trevor Rabin, who is still best known for his score for Armageddon, is also scoring John Dahl's The Great Raid and Roger Spottiswoode's thriller White on White.
