DUAL F/W Release - warning ! for test only...
DISCLAIMER OF UPGRADE DUAL FIREWARE

Flash firmware for Windows mode:

1. Please download the appropriate driver file you need from website.

2. Run the flash program under Windows.

3. Click on the 「Upgrade」button under the flash program

4. 「Status Upgrading」is starting to flash the F/W , normally you will wait 2 minutes.

5. After flashing, the system will appear 「Complete！Please restart your computer」, then, restart your computer to finish the flash procedure.

6. If you don’t like this f/w version, you can use pervious version to

* Warning! Flash program can’t use on DOS mode of Windows!

Note:

1.Nu does not recommend you to upgrade your F/W, if the drive is working properly and does not encounter any irreclaimable problem issues.

2.Nu is not responsible for any defective reasons if the upgrading process caused the issue.

這次的Flash程式不再有限制，要改成DDW-082或改回DDW-081隨你高興！

如果照他的說法翻成白話文不就是
1.除非你遇到不能解決的問題..不然不建議升級此韌體
2.如果升級的過程或升級後有問題...NU是不負責任的

NU放的好像是原本就流傳許久的B360pro啊！
這版韌體.....對 -R 挑到不行，好像沒什麼用吧！
這次意義充其量就是...NU把 dual 韌體正式放在官網了，供使用者"免費"下載！
但B360pro韌體實在還需要大修整治，暫時還是不要更新好了。

我更新過了,回報一下.....
這次release的先前release的B360Pro不同版本,

因為NU他沒有寫出此版本的更新features,而以下是我更新的感覺出的差異處:

1. BIOS flash程式不會當機了, 我之前不管哪一版的flash都會當機,只好用reset的方式重新啟動,
這一板在我的PC上沒這個問題(AMD Althon 1.2 + ASUS A7V133 + WinXP SP1)

2. 最棒的是,它解決了NU之前韌體與Oxf911 IEEE 1394的相容性問題,
我在我的Maxpower外盒上,目前可以抓到了,正常運作!!

試燒結果, 4X +R RiData箭頭片, 燒錄沒問題,
不過我連燒兩片8x的 +R RiData(ㄧ片為8x,ㄧ片為4x以8x寫入),都大概在30%的時候,Nero出現Write error的訊息......

損失兩片+R .....

不過我不確定是此板任體的問題還是外接盒的問題,不過用之前的B30Pro燒8x都沒問題,而先前的B360Pro我就沒試過8x燒錄了.....
而更進一部要探究答案,則需要把我目前的燒錄機裝置主機的IDE直接燒錄看看,才可以比較容易分辨...

因為我沒有-R的片子,所以無法測試-R...
不過我也不想測了.因為...太傷本了..
其他的..就看看有沒有網友願意測試分享囉~

(我之前有寫Mail給NU,回報我上述的兩個問題,問題果然解決了!!
感覺上NU有在進步,RD工程師,加油囉!! )

題外話: 感覺以外接燒錄8x很操!! 燒錄機的Buffer bar都快被掏空了!!
不知道這是外接的通病還是NU的問題? 或是2MB Buffer太小?
(8x幾乎以10Mb/s度掏空buffer)

之前的B360就有+ R 8x燒會失敗的問題，後來的B360 pro應該也沒改善，只改善可任意刷回 081

至於 -R 這一部份，有人試過了，結果如之前大家的測試一般 "不穩"。

我現在也被NU給搞胡塗了，之前的BX30 pro在刷的時候就說是跟BX30版本相同，刷完也是顯示BX30。現在是又釋出B360、BX30，看起來又好像跟之前釋出的pro版是一樣的，但又改善1394外接盒的相容性，這到底是怎麼回事?

真是糟糕，NU好像在打迷糊仗，即使是韌體有修改，編號也要順便改一下嘛!

NU接主機板IDE，來源為硬碟ISO檔(4.38G)，8X燒入並不會掏空！緩衝區可以維持80~90%以上。
雖然8x幾乎以10Mb/s度掏空buffer，但是記憶體運作並不是以秒計的(太慢了)。早在燒錄機2MB Buffer被掏空前，主記憶體Buffer隨時會補滿那2MB Buffer。
所以2MB Buffer跟8MB Buffer以效能來說是沒啥差別的。
您應該是外接引起掏空的。
