Difference between OEM and ODM, please explain? I am interested in how to distinguish them.

original equipment manufacturer (OEM): The company only make the product.The design is performed by another (original) company
Original Design Manufacture (ODM): The Company will design and make the product.So the production includ technology of the ODM company

The Pioneer DVR-A09 or DVR-109 is design and made by pioneer.Asus is not to participate in A09 or 109's design.So Asus DRW-1608-P is not Pioneer OEM.

But is strange they have such a similarity, says their feature, their mechanic part, their chipset.

It is not only similar,it's the same one.
