Ricoh soon will announce a new CD-RW drive with the codename "MP7240". The drive will support 24x writing, 10x re-writing, 40x reading among with JustLink and JustSpeed technologies. The drive's estimated retail price is yet unknown and as for the shipping date, you should expect it middle of October 2001.
