誰知道Seagate SCSI HD 韌體 要去哪裡下載

多年來一直在找HD的韌體,應該是有



..............從未見在外流出....

seagate的硬碟韌體是要透過seatools連結到seagate網站
判定你的硬碟型號與韌體後才能進行線上更新,不是透過程式直性做bin的更換
這可能會有些問題,因為這樣的程序要透過標準的aspi去抓取硬碟資料
但是很多XOR的scsi控制都靠i2o solution,這樣就無法更新了

請問一下那那個工具要去哪裡抓

結果出現No S.M.A.R.T. thresholds exceeded
請問這是甚麼意思呢?(15000rpm ultra320)

另外找到driver網頁
只是不知道要用哪一個?能請知道的人教我一下嗎?(ST336753LC)

還是都沒看到要如何更新韌體及檔案

應該是不可能可以更新>_<"，我也想要新的bios，可是不知道有啥工具可以抽出hd的bios，然後更新舊的hd。

我mail一封給seagate的工程師，但…應該是殘念了…

There are many reasons Seagate does not make firmware readily available
on
our website. We have many different drive families and many proprietary
versions of each of these families at customer sites. The most common
version of firmware is referred to as standard or distributor firmware.
Any attempt to upgrade a drive with the wrong firmware may easily result
in an unusable drive. For this reason, we wish to have direct contact
with any customer requesting an upgrade to determine if the upgrade is
needed, and to ensure that the customer receives the correct firmware for
their drive.

Firmware revisions are made for many different reasons. They could be
for
ease of drive testing during the manufacturing process, for enhanced
performance or for actual problem resolution.

All firmware revisions are regression tested to ensure that they are
compatible with previous revisions for the same drive, and for
compatibility with other drive families and operating systems. If a
drive
with a later revision of firmware is introduced into a system (such as a
RAID system), it is usually not necessary to upgrade the current drives
to
the later revision of firmware.

If a problem occurs with your drive application that you think may be
firmware related, please contact us with any pertinent information such
as
symptoms, operating system, drive models with any firmware revisions that
might be a factor and we will provide you with the correct upgrade
firmware if necessary.
