We can reveal that Twentieth Century Fox are to release a feature-length episode of The X Files onto Region 2 DVD on 6 August.

The episode, Deadalive from the shows eighth season is the first feature-length episode to be released on the format outside of the boxsets, so hopefully this won't be the only time it happens. It'll be interesting to see just how the disc is presented - will we get the full widescreen version? Time will tell!

I can also reveal that Futurama is definitely coming later this year. I'm doing my best to dig up some more details on that one, but it's looking like we're going to get full seasons at a time.
