So should we open a thread on cdr media experiement design? And people who are interested should all chip in a few discs (so we can get a better random sampling of the discs tested).

Some key variable we are looking at are

Type of Media (even just different batch)
Type of Burner
Write speed
Write style? (ZCLV vs CAV)
