Please accept our apologies for any confusion regarding this order. We
first charged your card on March 4, 2001 when we were preparing to ship
your order, but then we noticed that one of the items designated for your
order was damaged. Rather than send you an inferior item that did not
meet our quality standards, we cancelled that item from the shipment and
ordered a replacement copy from our supplier.

We issued a refund on the same date for the damaged item and shipped the
rest of your order. Once the item arrived at our distribution center on
March 7, 2001, we charged your card again for this item when we shipped it.

On your Visa card statement, you should see two charges and one refund for
this order. This will reflect the fact that we charged your card and were
ready to make a shipment, then refunded your card until we could complete
this order. Please note that while the process of charging a credit card
happens immediately,the process to refund a credit card takes 2-3 business
days to be completed and posted to your billing statement, so the refund
may appear on your statement after the second charge.
