Mika Hakkinen and Ron Dennis arrange meeting...........


According to reports in the Finnish media, Mika has made contact with Ron Dennis and the two have arranged to meet in the South of France in the not too distant future.

Apparently, Mika telephoned Dennis on Wednesday, and Heikki Kulta, the motorsports reporter for Turun Sanomat then spoke with Dennis who said, "It was the first time in four months that I spoke with Mika. I didn't ask if he's missing racing. He just wanted some advice on a business matter."

Dennis did not elaborate on what this business matter may be, saying only "It sounded to me that Mika is really enjoying his holiday, and I've always understood that he still pretty fit."

Following the H鄢kinen's holiday in Venice, where they were joined by Didier Coton and Jatta Rosberg (both from Mika's former management team), Coton remarked that Mika seemed to be enjoying doing all the things that he wanted to do. Coton also said that he and Mika did not discuss whether or not Mika would return to McLaren. The Frenchman believes that Mika himself has not yet decided what his future may hold.

Additional reports in the Finnish media point to Mika making an appearance in the McLaren garage at the Monaco Grand Prix, but not before, although Erja is said to be keen to visit the Spanish GP at Barcelona.
