小弟想更新手中Creative DVD1240E至全區韌體，
在新韌體的說明中有以下的文字，小弟不甚了解，可否請前輩解釋解釋：
ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM Drive F/W Download Ulitlity DWL2.EXE Usage
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Usage: DWL2 <0-3> <F/W file name>
0: PRIMARY MASTER
1: PRIMARY SLAVE
2: SECONDALY MASTER
3: SECONDALY SLAVE

Ex.: DWL2 2 A.BIN

You can't use this program on "Windows DOS Prompt".
Please execute on Real-DOS mode.
（該新韌體Zip檔中包含Update.txt、Dwl2.txt、Dwl2.exe以及3x14.bin四個檔案）

我更新韌體的步驟為何呢？
是先在純DOS的環境中執行Dwl2.exe，然後再選則光碟機的代號嗎？

網站上該新韌體的註解裡有一段話：
Make sure your drive is set to a region before upgrading to the 3X14 firmware. You can check this with the Drive Region Info program.
請問該段話的真實含意又為何呢？
