在Apple的次世代PC理念中有提到USB2.0將提供給低速設備使用
而IEEE1394才是主導高速設備的介面
因此IEEE1394的未來展望並不是只給燒錄機使用
之所以發展超高頻寬是為了承載HDD/CD-ROM/DVD-ROM/CD-RW/MO....等
這些高速設備,所以還在發展更高的頻寬
而USB2.0雖然有480Mbps的頻寬,
可是應該少有廠商會為它開發燒錄機,其中日本廠商更是不會想開發!

原來是實驗品ㄚ~難怪沒看到
Firewire是Apple主導的......當然全力支持
其實也難講，要是是以前的執行長的話，搞不好他們自己會推翻Firewire~
Plextor的確有出USB2.0的外接式燒錄機~
