Nine Inch Nails' critically acclaimed The Fragility Tour will come to small screens this year, Rolling Stone reports.

The DVD/VHS, which currently has no title, will be issued with a companion music CD. "I thought the show was really, really good when we were doing it," says NIN frontman Trent Reznor. "[The DVD] is just kind of a memento, a reminder, a document of the Fragility Tour."

Originally, Reznor had hired a professional film crew to document the shows, but the results were too slick for his liking. "The end result (was) ... a Bon Jovi HBO-looking special, with sweeping cameras; there's always something that missed the mark," Reznor told Rolling Stone. Instead, the video will be made up of hand-held video shot by crew members and friends, similar to Pearl Jam's recent Touring Band concert DVD.

The DVD will contain 18 performances in 5.1 digital surround sound, multiple camera angles, bonus features, audio commentary and more...And beyond saying the results will be released "this year," there was no indication of when the project would make it to shelves.
