ATI have production facilities in Canada that only does two lines at a time. They also outsource production from China to make all their other lines, and sometimes the lines they are also doing. The people they outsource from have recently branded themselves as Sapphire to enter the retail market. All the OEM boards are produced by Sapphire, of which many other board vendors are buying pre-built.




ATI很早就把自有生產顯示卡的工作交給香港的Sapphire,而另外的廠商則是ATI提供原廠電路板與其他RAM.配件與晶片搭售給其他廠商如憾訓與技嘉
其實2D的好壞是在於顯示卡的低通濾波電路,這點是ATI顯示卡的優點
現在即使有廠商如DELL要跟ATI訂100K的訂單,ATI也只是會找如Sapphire代工製造而已,所以不用在乎BBA與PBA的品質,基本上是差不多的,況且R9500因為售價低,用R300的晶片所以利潤微薄,以 後會被RV350取代,我手上也有一張別人送的憾訓R9700 Pro,編號是XR9700-C3/P不過我這張卡很奇怪,核心超到330以後就不行了,不知道是不是風扇與晶片縫隙的問題,總之我很懷疑為何有人能把R300的核心超到350以上,難道我的運氣不好
