I have both versions.... 
The music cd inside of that special edition is a "Live" cd, the dvd of both version should have the same contents.
The sound format of that dvd is DD5.1, Hope this helps! 
The MTV DVDs I have:
Kylie Minogue - Fever 2002 (Live in Manchester) (both Normal & Special Edition)
Queen - Greatest Video Hits 1
