看看別人,想想自己 - Amazon 購物經驗談

最近在Amazon買了楊德昌的"一一",不過Amazon寄過來的DVD光碟有點問題,DVD Player怎麼都讀不出來,所以我利用Amazon的退貨程序,準備請他們重寄一張新的光碟來。照理應該是要把DVD寄回去對不對?我也打包好了,準備寄回,結果Amazon來了一封信函,說郵資太貴,叫我不用寄回去了。他們的來信如下:

I have placed a new order (#xxxx-xxxx-xxxx) for the item "Yi Yi," and
it will ship as soon as possible to the same address via Expedited
International shipping method. There will of course be no additional
charge for this replacement.

Because the cost of returning the package would be prohibitive, please
keep the original shipment.

I apologize for this inconvenience, and thank you for shopping at
Amazon.com.

我一開始看了信,有一點搞不清楚他的意思,也覺得這似乎太過"友善",所以又回了一封信,確認是否真的不用把光碟寄回,結果他們在2個小時內又回函:
