King Crimson是1980年代的三大前衛搖滾樂團之一, 其他兩個是Genesis和Roxy Music.
K.C.是其中樂風最艱深的, 實驗性非常濃厚, 屬於菁英式的樂團, 喜歡的人會很崇拜他們, 不喜歡的人可能根本就聽不下去.

K.C.的原始編制如下: (改朝換代好幾遍)
