use Virtual or NadDub

1. open the first AVI
2. pull down File menu and select "Append AVI segment..." function,
specify the name of the 2nd AVI
3 pull down Video menu and select "Direct stream copy"
4 pull down Audio menu and select "Direct stream copy"
5 pull down File menu and select "Save as AVI..."
