Why I get "ASPI error ..." message?
DUP-DVD need ASPI to support CD burning,if you get "ASPI error ..." message,please restart your Windows and try again.Or update your ASPI driver to a newer version.(you can find the newest driver by searching "aspi32.exe" at any search engine such as Yahoo,Google.Sometimes maybe you need "forceaspi"). Or you can download ASPI32.EXE , FORCEASPI17.RAR and ASPICHK.EXE here!


Why I keep get "No hard disk space ..." message?
DUP-DVD use the TEMP directory of Windows to store temp files,you can set the TEMP directory to a larger drive.In Windows 98,reset environment variable TMP and TEMP in autoexec.bat;In Windows NT/2000/XP, use control panel->system to set the the variables.


How to backup a DVD to VCD?
Just put the DVD disc into DVD drive,blank CD-R/RW into CD writer.
Click "option" to set target to "VCD",click "Copy" and after hours you
will get the VCDs,very easy to use!


How to backup a DVD to SVCD?
Just put the DVD disc into DVD drive,blank CD-R/RW into CD writer.
Click "option" to set target to "SVCD",click "Copy" and after hours you
will get the SVCDs,easy to use!


How to backup a DVD to a image file?
Put the DVD disc into DVD drive,select "Image" as the target.After
set the target image file path,click "Copy" and after hours you will get
the images,You can save the image file for further use,or
burn the image files to CD-R/RW


How to burn a image file to a CD-R/RW?
Select "Image" as the source,set the source image file path,put a blank CD-R/RW into CD writer.click "Copy" and after minutes you will get the CD-R/RW


How to burn a MPEG file to a CD-R/RW?
Select "Image" as the source,set the source mpeg file path,click "option" to set target type(VCD or SVCD),put a blank
CD-R/RW into CD writer.click "Copy" and after minutes you will get the CD-R/RW


Can I burn a VCD/SVCD from hard disk VOB files?
Yes! Select "Image" as the source,select the "ifo" file of the VOB files for the source image, click "option" to set target type(VCD or SVCD),put a blank CD-R/RW into CD writer.click "Copy" and after hours you will get the CD-R/RW


May I select a subtitle?
Sure!click "option" to set the sub title combo box before click "Copy".


May I select a sound track?
Yes!click "option" to set the sound combo box before click "Copy".


What is the limitation of the trial version DUP-DVD?
Trail version only can make the first 1/4 of a DVD movie to SVCD/VCD.
Other functions(CD coping,MPG to VCD/SVCD,Image file to VCD/SVCD are same as registered version).


Why I get "Can't open DVD ..." message?
Sometimes you may get a message like "Can not open DVD!Please use a DVD player (e.g. PowerDVD,WinDVD) to play the Disc for 1 minute and try again!",this means your DVD drive is locked,so use a DVD player software(PowerDVD/WinDVD etc) to open the DVD and the DVD drive will be unlocked.Then exit the player,start DUP-DVD to backup the the movie to VCD/SVCDs.


How to upgrade?
Just install the new version to the directory of previous version.
