國立中央大學中文系助理教授胡川安在臉書爆料指出，周台英和她的博士論文指導老師陳忠慶，曾於2023年將名為《菁英女足球員比賽間隔是否充足（Adequate Interval between Matches in Elite Female Soccer Players）》（暫譯）的論文，發表於「運動科學與醫藥期刊（Journal of Sports Sciences and Medicine）」第22期。
