這個系列還滿好看的, 現在終於知道公路旁的那些WEIGHT STATION些是怎麼運作的了.
幾乎每次經過都沒看到車在裡面.
基本上是州際公路都不收費, 不過大城市裡還是有很多的高速公路是要收費的. 當然那些路線也有不收費的普通道路或更塞的普通高速公路可以走, 就看時間或金錢怎麼衡量了.
居然都不用到腳煞車實在太酷了. 我記得美國還有規定司機一天只能跑多少小時或英哩, 超過就要強制休息. 所以假如要24小時不停的開的服務就要TEAM TRUCK. 有兩個輪流.
念書時有朋友的親戚中年想要轉業去報考這個說過一個笑話, 有個中國來的要考卡車駕照. 試題只有英文和西班牙文, 那個人誤打誤撞去念了西班牙文考題.
筆試時居然滿分, 結果後來人家跟他用西班牙文講話他一翹不通. 被當作弊終生不得再考了.
感覺美國這個卡車公會應該也是很有勢力, 有一集講到火車時速多5英哩, 對他們的生意就影響很大了. 要是火車時速跟一般車一樣, 那他們應該就沒戲唱了. 不過應該有工會在抗議.
