動詞後面如果要接動詞當受詞，只能接不定詞（toV）

以前我都是記want to、like to、plan to....
看起來我好像是錯的，感覺跟他說的差很多

一、有一些動詞後面如果要接動詞當受詞，只能接不定詞（toV），要視為一組動詞來背：
常用的有want(想要)、would like(想要)、plan(計畫)、decide(決定)、need(需要)(人當主詞時)、have to（必須）
例句1：I want to go home.我想要回家。（I want going home. ╳ )
例句2：I would like to tell you something.我想要告訴你一件事。（I would like telling...╳）
例句3：I plan to take a trip to Taipei.我打算到台北旅遊。（I plan taking...╳）
例句4：You need to clean your room.你必須/需要打掃你的房間。（You need cleaning...╳）
（但「事物 need Ving」是可以的，如Your room needs cleaning.你的房間需要打掃了。）
例句5：It's late. I have to go. 時間不早了，我該走了。（have to+V視為片語來背，意思是「必須、該…」）
