FRONTLINE NEWS WORLD OF WARPLANES GLOBAL ALPHA (0.2.5)

Greetings, xxxxxx!

The Wargaming.net Team is pleased to announce the latest update for its free to play, team-based, aviation-dedicated game World of Warplanes. The most recent patch went live on May 16th , and is currently available to thousands of Global Alpha testers across three game servers.

This update has introduced the first in a series of game tutorials, recommended for completion by all beginners. The tutorial lesson allows newcomers to get to grips with their warplanes, and aims to teach them the nuts and bolts of basic aviation.

The 0.2.5 update also includes the following:
10 new warplanes:
- Germany: Ar.65 (I), Ar.68 (II), Bf.110B (IV), Me P.1099B (IX);
- USA: F2A (II), F5U (VIII), F6U (IX)
- USSR: TSh-1 (II), LAGG-3 (V), IL-20 (IX).
A thoroughly reworked and improved interface:
- changed hangar interface layout and its navigation scheme;
- added warplane tech trees;
- added prompting messages (within the battle loading screen);
- reworked client login screen.
Upgraded bomb and rocket mechanics:
- bombsight mode available in all camera views, for those warplanes carrying bombs;
- bomb button may be engaged without switching to bombsight mode;
- weight of bombs and rockets influences the physical model of a warplane;
- added a delay-action fuse while bombing at low altitude.

And the above is just a small taste of the new features available!
World of Warplanes test pilots will also be able to check out various other impressive updates in-game:
- reworked Harbour and Pacific maps;
- improved camera movement;
- optimised mouse controls;
- upgraded battle interface (added a lead-pursuit point).
And finally, the 0.2.5 update has unveiled a brand new matchmaking mechanism:
- decreased tier gap for warplanes (no more tier X vs. tier IV!);
- team sorting according to warplane classes;
- shortened wait times for battle queues;

Additionally, on player request, the figures of pilots have been removed from hangars and crashed warplanes.

昨天WoW寄來的e-mail。
Global Alpha testers明顯的有增加。
(昨天早上約有200多的players在線上，進Battle也較快些，
人ㄧ多我FPS就低於15，又得調Game Graphic Setup。)
game tutorials只看到Lesson 1，蠻奇怪的。
