兩岸跨境交易再晉級 淘寶網全面接受台灣信用卡支付
在台灣蓬勃發展的「宅經濟」商機，現在也延燒到對岸去！看好台灣消費的購買力，Visa表示，即日起，台灣Visa卡友可持台灣發行的Visa卡和Visa金融卡，直接在淘寶網直接購物。另外，年底前，前一萬名在淘寶網消費滿人民幣468元 (約新台幣2187元) 的台灣Visa持卡人，還可獲得價值50元的7-11 CITY CAFE咖啡兌換券。
根據淘寶網統計，截至今(2012)年2月底為止，台灣的淘寶網註冊會員人數年增長率超過五成，最常購買商品包括3C用品、服飾、鞋包配件與汽車百貨等，交易金額亦有逐年增長的趨勢。
淘寶網國際行銷及業務發展總監李芃君也指出，在過去的兩年裡，光是批踢踢實業坊合購版上，每天幾乎都有網友在發起淘寶網團購，每天平均有約100篇文章。
