黃仁勳親口否認nVIDIA開發x86處理器傳言

上週早些時候，市場調研企業AmTech的分析師宣稱，nVIDIA已經招募了大量原全美達公司員工，目的就是準備開發自己的x86處理器。而據CNET報導，黃仁勳在上週末已經親口向他們否認了這種說法。
黃仁勳在上週四參加完nVIDIA季財報會議後的採訪中，被問到這一招聘傳言是否意味著nVIDIA正在開發和Intel/AMD產品運行同樣指令集的x86處理器。他斷然否認了這種說法：「不。nVIDIA的策略非常非常明了。我可以非常直截了當的說，現在我們比之前任何時候都更專注於視覺和並行計算。」 |
有了 G80 的前例, 鬼才信他不會偷偷下去開發 x86 CPU...
當時說的滿滿, NV 將由 API 來實現統合渲染架構... 結果咧?
殺出個 G80... 坐穩了卡王位子兩年有餘...
