請問所謂的升級版是可以在沒有先安裝 XP 的狀況下，直接安裝的嗎？還是要先預裝微軟其它先前的作業系統，才能再「升級」安裝 Win7？

會先驗證前一版的 Windows, 有兩種方法:
如果已經有系統, 會直接升級, 部分版本可能會直接覆蓋, 舊有系統將不存在
如果沒有找到已安裝的系統, 那會要你放入前一版的CD/DVD作驗證
