再補一下

動用option是指有實際把球員往minor league送才會算動用
When a player is added to the 40-man roster, his club has three “options,” or three separate seasons during which the club may to move him to and from the minor leagues without exposing him to other clubs.

所以像小王這種沒被送下去過的其實都沒用到option
If a player is not sent to the minors during a year, an option is not used.

確實是沒有option的
同一篇文章，關鍵在這兩句
A player on the 40-man roster playing in the minors is on optional assignment.

If a player is on the 40-man roster in spring training but optioned to the minors before the season begins, an option is used.

王建民是2002年11月被放進40人名單
之後沒有被移出40人名單過
2003、2004都在名單內，而且沒有在MLB出賽
所以已經用掉兩個option
2005年已經是最後一個option year了
而該年他在季中被升上MLB

故王建民應該已經用光所以的option
要被下放AAA
我想其他隊絕對不會『同意』的

如果王建民是2005一開季就上MLB
2006-2008如我們所知，通通都沒有被下放
那他今年的確還會有option
不過......如大家所知，他2005是5月才被升上來的
所以最後一個也用掉囉
