Chad Cordero will go on the DL, retroactive to March 27, because of his sore shoulder.

The Nationals said Cordero didn't experience a setback. He'll be eligible to return next Friday, and the team is planning on him being ready then. In the meantime, Jon Rauch will continue to close. Justin Maxwell could be called up to help out the bench.

Chad Billingsley threw two scoreless innings out of the pen Friday against the Padres.

The Dodgers decided against moving Billingsley back up in the rotation after their stunt Wednesday, so he'll start Monday or Tuesday, with Esteban Loaiza going the other day. He allowed one hit and struck out two while throwing 31 pitches tonight.
