其實iTunes 不像是 Music Juke box，他的設計理念根本就是一個資料庫管理軟體。透過mp3檔案的meta data去排序、搜尋、分類、管理。

講的狂妄一點，用database的觀念去管理檔案，超出一般人用檔案系統、檔案夾的觀念太多，因為觀念太先進，很多人無法接受。

就好像大部分的人都還是用 "檔名" + "資料夾位置" 去分類硬碟裡面的檔案。問題是這種觀念是建立在硬碟不超過100MB時候的事情，現在硬碟一不小心買多了就超過1TB的時代，還能夠用傳統的思維去處理嗎？

如果說一般使用者沒有辦法適應 iTunes，那可能要考慮一下update你的大腦，因為.....Microsoft Windows都要考慮取代傳統的資料夾形式了。以後的檔案總管會越來越像iTunes。

以後硬碟整個就是一個database，所謂"路徑"這種東西會漸漸被拋棄，取而代之的是 "Properties" "Tags" "Relation Rules"

Seagate CEO 之前被採訪時，講了一段他對Apple的評論，我覺得蠻有趣的：
