跟DD比較DD+的流量已經是3到5倍了，當然想要更好的音質我前面也說了，還有Dolby HD跟DTS-HD可以用
BD在DD+的流量比HD DVD小，我想可以很直覺地「猜測」是BD容量大，能夠以DTS-HD或是Dolby TrueHD為主，DD+為多語系支援為輔
(不過我想1.7M你還是不能說他流量低的，不要陷入數字情節了)
不過因為目前三星的機器只能解DD、DD+、DTS，所以現有的BD標題都還是以DD或是多聲道LPCM為主要音軌
相對而言，HD DVD是以DD+為主力，幾乎每片現有的標題都有DD+音軌，這也是HD DVD Player被強制要求必須支援解碼的規格

記憶中三星的機器是不能解Dolby TrueHD 和 DD+.
電影公司Paramount已更正MI:3(不可能的任務3)的Blu-Ray版本, 是沒有Dolby Digital Plus(DD+), 只有Dolby Digital.

Paramount informed us this morning that the M:i:III HD format spec list they sent us, which we posted yesterday, contained a couple of errors. The Inside the IMF featurette is in standard definition video, not high-def, on both HD versions. Also, the audio on the Blu-ray Disc will be Dolby Digital, while the audio on the HD-DVD will be Dolby Digital Plus. We've updated the spec list below. Adjust your purchase plans accordingly.
