個人認為，AMD的AM2是為了64位元時代的到來做準備，因為基本架構都已經相當完善了~64位元運算性能要出來，除了仰賴軟體的支援外，記憶體容量和記憶體頻寬是相當的重要的，所以CPU內建高效率的DDR2控制器，低延遲配上大頻寬的DDR2-800相信能進一步提升64位元運算的效能~!
