Plextor Puts 18x DVD±RW On Ice

As we reported last week, Plextor has put their new 18x DVD±RW, the PX-760A, on hold. According to the German website, heise online, the writing quality with existing media wasn't up to Plextor's standards. Translated from German:
Plextor put the publication of its 18X-Brenners Px-760a for the time being on ice. "the 18X-Schreibqualitaet (write quality) of our drive assembly does not correspond to our internal quality standards in combination with the available blanks," was called it from the European center in Belgium.
