這個收購案,讓nV 的晶片組與雙顯卡版圖在接下來的一年內幾乎是屹立不搖...
ATI的南橋一向是 Orz...過去依賴 ULI 提供南橋,現在唯一能提供南僑的 ULI 又被並構
只有尋求SIS與 I 老大的幫助, 但是以上這兩家都有自己的產品線與產能,
I老大自己的部分晶片組都不夠了還給 ATI? SIS 為了支援 Intel的中低階市場,產能也差不多飽和了...
至於VIA...已經多久沒消息了???
雖然Intel已經有 ATI的授權,但是我想 nV 也不會坐視不管, SIS的晶片組也是,
nV遲早都會授權在這兩家的晶片組上開啟 SLI, 這裡又回到顯卡買不買的到的問題...
nV 併購 ULI, 除了截斷南橋的支援外, 也壯大自己的低階晶片組版圖,不再需要腰斬自己的高階晶片組來當低階賣, 在價格與配備的選擇上也會更多元化, 能更進一步壯大自己的SLI 佔有率
在缺少晶片組支援的情況下,ATI的 CF還有一場硬仗要打...=.=
