Bloody collaboration for Hans ZIMMER & Marc MANCINA



According to its official website, Production I.G. announces that Hans ZIMMER(as producer) & Marc MANCINA(as composer) would score the new TV anime project from the studio, BLOOD+. The opening song will be performed by Hitomi Takahashi, a talented 16 year old singer who topped the Japanese music charts with the opening song for Gundam Seed Destiny.

Production I.G. is known for having animated such titles as Ghost In The Shell, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Patlabor and the anime sequence from Kill Bill. Recently, IG has begun to produce its own original material, with Jin-Roh : The Wolf Brigade & Blood : The Last Vampire.

Blood+, directed by Jun'ichi Fujisaku and supervised by Mamoru Oshii will premiere at Japanese TV on October, the 8th. 2005.

Hans Zimmer And Mark Mancina Sign For Blood+ Score
Two big names in the Hollywood film industry, Hans Zimmer and Mark Mancina, sign for the forthcoming Blood+ TV series music score. Hans Zimmer wrote the music for Gladiator, The Last Samurai, Black Rain, Batman Begins and The Thin Red Line. Mark Mancina composed the scores for action movies such as Speed, Con Air, Twister and the Academy winner Training Day.
