我後來終於爬到文了,原來正如Hitachi工程師所言,是主機板的問題.
以下是Hitachi給我的回覆
Dear Sir,

If this is a compatibility issue here, we can only suggest you to try
changing the Hitachi harddisk around the other ide port. You can try on
IDE1 master/slave and then see if there are any lag? This problem seems to
be more of a motherboard issue instead of individual harddisk issue.

文中提到把SATA碟拿來當行動碟(跟我買SATA的動機是一樣的^^")
在"BIOS設置方面"拿了ASUS P4C800當例子,說明SATA會去佔用IDE channel.

我想我因為兩個IDE已滿,加上MB不支援SATA,所以IDE channel被佔用應該無解了 T_T
但賣SATA卡的公司應該告知買方會有此情況發生,因為會加裝硬碟擴充卡,不外乎是
IDE已滿,這種情況下,如果加裝SATA會犧生現有IDE port的話,要讓消費者自行決定.
