For the three months ended 11/30/04, sales rose 31% to $613.9 million. Net income according to the U.S. GAAP rose 47% to $62.2 million. Revenues reflect an increase in the desktop chips sales in the AIB channel and strong sales of discrete products. Net income reflects increased gross margins as well as higher interest income.

REUTERS ABRIDGED FINANCIAL SUMMARY
For the 39 weeks ended 24 October 2004, revenue rose 7% to $1.44 billion. Net income rose 4% to $52.3M. Results reflect increased sales of the GeForce family of desktop GPUs, partially offset by increased R&D expenses.

兩家公司的產品線主要有顯示卡晶片(包括桌上型, 筆記型), 主機板整合晶片, 遊戲主機顯示晶片, ATI 還有手持設備的顯示晶片 (如手機,PDA), 數位電視的晶片

所以不能只用桌上型的某些零售市場來判斷, 很多時候主力是放在system builder 上
