Reeves and Bullock Reteam for Il Mare

Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock will star in Warner Bros. Pictures romantic drama Il Mare for Argentinian helmer Alejandro Agresti, reports Variety. The film, which reunites the actors who teamed on 1994's Speed, will start shooting in Chicago in March.

The script, written by Pulitzer-winning playwright David Auburn, is an English-language remake of the Korean pic of the same name produced by Sidus.

The love story concerns a lonely doctor (Bullock) and a frustrated architect (Reeves) who live in the same house two years apart and fall in love via letters they exchange through a mailbox that mysteriously bridges time.
