use athor to get the main movie and use chaper to split the movie into 2 as you wish;

dvd shrink is very nice & reliable...only two weakness:

1. no menu if split
2. reading ability is weaker if disc is not well made

to split the disc, i use dvdfab gold 2.5 - reading better & with menu on both discs

to compress dvd, dvd shrink is good & can select audio & subtitle
