Attention!!the frequency of FX55 is 2.6G
Maybe dothan seems weak in some encoding tests.
But don't forget...
For encoding,fsb is a very important character.
Dothan ONLY uses 100mhz fsb(400mhz bus speed).
However, Pentium4 uses 200mhz fsb(800mhz bus speed) and A64 has memory controller.
I can't imagine HOW POWERFUL DOTHAN IS if Intel add high fsb or memory controller to dothan.

嗯..幾乎每各喜歡Dothan的人都會說FX55因為時脈高才贏...那我是不是應該也說Dothan因為L2塞到2MB才贏的 ?
我也沒說K8不是靠時脈贏的呀,所以我才好奇,以Dothan現在的狀況,不知道有沒有辦法提高時脈到3G,因為K8用0.09um應該3G沒問題
有辦法提高的話,那就相當強囉 |
